Watch the macro crowd move: the Graph gets a time slider

Last week we shipped the Graph: every asset the tracked macro speakers called in a period, drawn as a bubble sized by how many calls it got. It answers “where is the attention right now”. It did not answer the better question: where is the attention going.

Now it does. Under the graph there is a strip of the whole ledger, one bar per day, with your window drawn over it. Drag the window and the picture follows as you move. Oil swells into the biggest bubble on the screen in one week and shrinks back to a dot the next. The 10-year yield grows every time the bond market moves. Bitcoin is never the biggest bubble, but it never disappears either. The shift of focus that you would otherwise have to reconstruct from a hundred videos is there in one gesture.

How it works

  • Pick a width, then slide. Choose Today, 7, 30 or 90 days as before. The window keeps that width while you drag it along the strip, so a week stays a week wherever you put it. Drag an edge instead and the window becomes a custom range of any length. Click anywhere on the strip to jump the window there.
  • The bubbles move with you, not around. A bubble that gets more calls grows in place and one that gets fewer shrinks in place; nothing jumps across the screen. New assets appear next to the speakers who called them. The layout only makes room where a growing bubble needs it, so your eye can stay on one asset and follow it through time.
  • The bars are the ledger. The height of each bar in the strip is the number of calls the ledger has for that day, so you also see at a glance which days were loud and which were quiet, before you look at any bubble.
  • Everything else follows. The class filter, the speakers that fan out from a picked asset and the table of calls under the graph all follow the window. The table waits until you let go, so a long drag stays smooth.

Over the week of 21 to 27 October the tracked speakers made 2,868 calls on 989 assets, from 196 speakers. The Graph shows the 40 most called. Slide that week back to 9 to 15 October and it is 1,335 calls on 379 assets from 100 voices, with a different set of bubbles on top. The difference between those two pictures is what the slider is for.

The same slider on PnL Analytics

The strip also sits under the Cumulative Net P&L chart on the Trading side. Drag a window along your own closed trades and the equity curve, win rate, profit factor, top trades and the trade table all follow. The bars there are your trades per day.

Availability

The Graph and its slider are part of the Macro plan, and Apex includes it. Everyone else sees a blurred preview. Plans are bought in the Crypto Oracle app, and the same account opens the full Macro tab on the web. PnL Analytics is part of every trading plan.

Size shows attention, not accuracy: a big bubble means many calls, not good ones. Hit rates still live on the speaker scorecard. Nothing here is financial advice.
